5 Claude Prompts Every Business Owner Should Save

Five copy-and-paste Claude prompts for the tasks business owners and teams do every week: emails, proposals, meetings, content and decisions.

A good prompt is just a clear request. Here are five Claude prompts worth saving. Copy them, fill in the brackets, and adjust them until they sound like you.

1. Reply to a tricky email

Here's an email from a [client/customer]. Draft a reply that is warm,
clear and brief. Acknowledge their concern, explain [your position],
and suggest a next step. Keep it under 150 words.

[paste email]

Why it works: it gives Claude the tone, the goal and a length limit. That’s three things most people leave out.

2. Turn meeting notes into next steps

Here are my rough notes from a call with [name]. Pull out:
1) decisions we made, 2) action items with owners, and
3) open questions. Then draft a short follow-up email.

[paste notes]

3. Draft a proposal from a conversation

I just talked with a potential client. Using the notes below, draft
a one-page proposal with: their goal, what I'll do, timeline, and
price of [amount]. Write it for a busy owner who will skim it.

[paste notes]

4. Repurpose one idea into a week of content

Here's an idea I want to share: [idea]. Turn it into one LinkedIn
post, one Instagram caption and one short email to my list. Match
this voice: [paste something you've written].

5. Think through a decision

I'm deciding whether to [decision]. Ask me five questions that will
help me think it through, one at a time. Then summarize the
trade-offs and tell me what you'd want to know more about.

The best prompt is the one you saved and actually use again.

Make them even better

Save your favorites inside a Claude Project with your business details in the instructions. Then you can skip the setup and just paste in the email or notes.
